Hi Guys

I just wanted to congratulate everyone on a successful event yesterday even though I wasn't able to stay for the whole programme due to work commitments.

I felt everything was conducted in a very relaxed and yet professional manner, and the turn out was good too. Its noteworthy that there were a lot of youth there helping with arrangements which was good to see.

Also, it was brought to my attention that very morning that there would may be some issues with wearing the Kirpan and entering the Scottish Parliament building. I was very happy to hear that Anoop and his team had everything pre-arranged for us Kirpan wearing Sikhs and we were able to go through the security process without any problems at all.

Once again, congrats to the award winners, and to the Sikhs In Scotland team for yesterday's event.
